IAG appoints CRO
David Watts has been appointed IAG’s Chief Risk Officer, effective from September.
He replaces Clayton Whipp, who left in December after more than 10 years with the insurer.
Mr Watts will join from Westpac, where he is GM Portfolio Integrity, reporting to the CEO of the consumer bank. Previous roles at Westpac include group GM regulatory and governance, group GM enterprise risk and chief risk officer New Zealand.
Before joining Westpac in 2009 Mr Watts was chief risk officer at NAB for 17 years.
