IAG says Independent Non-Executive Director Sheila McGregor will resign after its annual meeting on October 21.

Ms McGregor informed IAG of her departure as she plans to expand her part-time commitments at law firm Gilbert + Tobin to lead its Tech and IP team.

IAG Chairman Tom Pockett says the board has “benefited greatly” from Ms McGregor’s legal expertise as it begins its search process for a replacement.

The board says it began a search process earlier this year for potential future appointments, with a particular focus on female directors.
