IAG has appointed Elizabeth Bryan as an independent non-executive director.

Ms Bryan is also Chairman of Caltex and a Westpac director.

She is a part-time member of the Takeovers Panel, a member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s director advisory panel and the Australian Treasury Advisory Council, and is a trustee of the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, which operates Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum.

Prior to becoming a professional director she was CEO of Deutsche Asset Management for eight years.
