Howes joins Hollard board

Hollard Insurance has appointed Actuaries Institute CEO Melinda Howes as a non-executive director.

She becomes the only woman on the eight-person board, which includes MD Richard Enthoven and CFO Derrick Jones as executive directors.

Other non-executive directors are Chairman Robert Ellis, Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) CEO David Matcham, former AAMI CEO Brian Keane, former American Re Australasia CEO Tony Richardson and Forensic Advisory Services partner Trevor Williams.

Ms Howes is also a non-executive director of the ARPC.
