The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) has named Hollard Insurance as its third and final strategic partner.

The move follows the announcement of Lloyd’s Australia as its principal strategic partner in May last year and Vero in May this year.

UAC Chairman Damien Coates says Hollard will form a vital part of UAC’s strategic plan.

Hollard Australia MD Richard Enthoven says his company considers providing seed capital and underwriting capacity to agencies “as central to our plans, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to share our model with UAC members”.

Mr Coates says the appointment of the three strategic partnerships over the past 14 months will assist the council to continually enhance services to members.
