Helio Restoration launches in Australia

Property repair services provider Helio Restoration has launched in the market, focusing on helping insurance businesses and their customers with water damage and other peril types.

The Sydney-based business is led by Glenn Lucas, who has more than 20 years’ industry experience, including numerous roles at Chubb Fire & Security.

Helios says it focuses on the use of technology to help clients mitigate and restore properties, resulting in significant cost savings for insurers.

The business has a live video streaming and collaboration app, along with predictive claim analytics, that will put the information in the insurer’s hands earlier to make the right decisions faster.

“It’s an exciting time to usher in a new era of progressive restoration solutions to the Australian market,” Mr Lucas said.

“Our number one priority is to get customers back to normal faster, and we know that speed of response drives both cost reduction and a better customer experience.”

He says getting things done quickly has become especially crucial, as seen during this latest La Nina weather event that is impacting the country.

“Water damage is complex for insurers, mainly because it can cause ongoing problems if the damage is not mitigated properly,” Mr Lucas said.

“You have a proven recipe for successful claim outcomes when you combine a fast response infrastructure with the best technology, bots, and analytics.”

Helios says its brand reflects more than 17 years’ of experience in the insurance industry, where it has handled more than 55,000 claims including from 65 catastrophe weather-related events.

The team is supported by a supplier network of 100-plus specialist restoration technicians across the country.
