Heath Lambert adds a US connection

Global broker Heath Lambert has signed an agreement with US brokerage Acordia Inc to create HLA Global. Andrew Plympton, Executive Chairman of Heath Lambert Group Australia, said Acordia will add a formal US servicing capability to the Heath Lambert global insurance broking and risk management network.

HLA Global will have offices in 55 countries and servicing capabilities in many more, generating annual revenues of more than $2 billion.

Acordia is the largest privately owned US insurance brokerage, with 3800 employees and more than 100 local offices. It is the world’s seventh-largest insurance brokerage. Mr Plympton said the agreement “allows us and our clients to access an extensive retail servicing network in the US.
