HDI Global Speciality has partnered with insurtech Precision Autonomy to develop an aviation platform that it expects will be rolled out globally following an Australian launch today.

“Aviation IQ is a bespoke full insurance life cycle platform for general aviation policies,” Australia Head of Aviation Jamie Bowes said.

“The aviation market has lacked disruption and innovation. This seeks to considerably change that.”

Mr Bowes says the platform will allow a much faster response to brokers and more flexibility in terms of product offering, pricing and usability, streamlining the traditional method of aviation cover placement and management.

The platform extends a partnership with Precision Autonomy, with the firms already collaborating to provide commercial drone insurance.
