HDI Global SE has announced Karina Rodriguez Diaz as its new Regional Market Manager Australasia, expanding her role at the insurer.    

HDI says the new role for Ms Diaz, who is currently Major Account Practice Manager, will enable a “national focus for state market management deliverables” as it continues to grow its presence in Australia. 

The insurer says she will also hold responsibilities for coordinating and supporting relationships with HDI partners in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia Pacific.    

Ms Diaz has been with HDI since 2017, beginning as an underwriting manager specialising in crisis management and cyber. She has more than 21 years of industry experience, having held roles at Aon and Marsh.    

Ms Diaz will be based in HDI’s Sydney office.
