Andre Eisele has been appointed CEO of the Pacific region at Guy Carpenter following Tony Gallagher’s promotion to CEO Asia-Pacific.

Mr Eisele was previously Swiss Re’s head of client markets property and casualty for Australia and New Zealand. He will be based in Sydney and report to Mr Gallagher.

Meanwhile, Heinrich Eder will join the Guy Carpenter advisory board for the Pacific region.

Mr Eder was MD of Munich Holdings Australasia from 2005 to last year.
