Gallagher Bassett has won a public tender to provide self-insurance claims management and return-to-work services to all NT Government staff.

The program will be led by Executive Director Self-Insurance Stacey Williams, National Manager Self-Insurance Ben Sheat and Transition Manager Emma Hosking.

Gallagher Bassett will establish panels to maximise procurement among service providers and will invest in local recruitment and training programs, including expansion of its cadetship program into the territory.

It will set up offices in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine, and has started recruiting.

Gallagher Bassett says it will work with the incumbent provider and the Government to ensure a seamless transition of claims.
