GAB Robins is moving quickly to secure a dominant place in the Australian loss adjusting industry with the launch of yet another office, this time in Gladstone, Queensland. The launch comes a week after another three acquisitions in Tasmania, Victoria and the Northern Territory.

The company already has a strong presence in Queensland, but Regional Leader Damon Bennett said the new office will “get the best service to local clients.”

The growth of the larger loss adjusting firms is a sign of the times, with the traditional small loss adjuster in danger of being swamped in local markets by large companies with big insurer contracts.

The latest office joins 60 other GAB Robins offices located in Australia and New Zealand.
