International insurance investigations group G4S Compliance and Investigations has acquired WA company Western Investigations.

Perth-based Western Investigations has been operating for more than 22 years and has a branch office in Darwin as well as operatives in all states.

G4S Australia MD Kieran Milne says the acquisition will expand the company’s operations in WA and the NT, as well as its ability to provide a full range of services throughout Australia.

“Western Investigations is very well respected in the market,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “We are looking to enhance their business with our infrastructure and resources, while they bring to our national platform a great reputation for professionalism and quality.

“It’s another step in us securing our position as market leaders, but we will always be looking for further opportunities.”

Western Investigations MD John Reilly will remain with G4S as GM of the WA and NT regions.
