Dual International has appointed industry veteran Terry Paradine as Non-Executive Chairman of its Asia-Pacific division.

Mr Paradine has 40 years’ experience in the industry, including as chairman and CEO of Marsh Asia-Pacific.

He retired as chairman of Zurich Financial Services in March and has also chaired the board of the lawyers’ professional indemnity insurer Lawcover.

Dual International CEO Shane Doyle says the Asia-Pacific region is a key growth engine for the group, and retaining someone of Mr Paradine’s experience to strengthen governance is a logical step in its commitment to the region.

Dual Asia-Pacific CEO Damien Coates says the division’s operations are “complex and diverse businesses, and a person with Terry’s depth of knowledge will be welcomed at Dual”.
