Tower NZ has appointed a former Commonwealth Bank executive to its board.

David Hancock has more than 25 years’ financial services experience, including time as an EGM at the bank and as a director at Commonwealth Securities.

Before joining CommBank he was MD of JP Morgan, with responsibilities in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.

More recently he was interim CEO of Firstfolio, an Australian listed financial services company. Mr Hancock will be an independent director of Tower and Tower Capital.
