Commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global has appointed Lyndon Broad as its Australian Operations Manager and CEO, following the retirement of Ian Berg.

Mr Broad is a director of subsidiary Affiliated FM Australia and has worked for FM Global in the UK, Asia and Australia since 1995, including a spell as Australia and New Zealand operations claims manager.

Mr Berg will stay on as CEO Australia until his retirement on March 31. He will also retire from the Insurance Council of Australia board from March 1.

Meanwhile, Glen Drinnan has returned from a secondment in Singapore to take up the role of director at Affiliated FM Australia.
