Fate of Centrepoint Alliance known next week
Directors of premium funding specialist Centrepoint Alliance intend to make an announcement on the company’s future by the end of next week.
Trade in Centrepoint securities has been suspended since April 30 as directors consider capital and structuring issues. The company last week sought a second extension of the voluntary suspension to June 17.
In a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange, the company said it has requested extra time to work through its options with corporate advisers Grant Samuel.
“The directors of Centrepoint Alliance Limited… are evaluating recently received proposals with respect to the company’s funding, strategy and capital structure,” it said.
