Lumley General and Life offices throughout Australia may install a sophisticated video-conferencing system that allows instant face-to-face interaction. The system will link up Lumley’s offices in Australia, London and India. 

The system is produced by Australian video and audio conferencing specialists eVideo Streaming. 

Lumley Technology, a division of The Lumley Group, already uses the conferencing technology, with MD Colin Hiss saying the new system “has changed the way the company does business worldwide”. 

“The increasing popularity of broadband will help drive the adoption of new communication tools that will continue to enhance the way people manage their business,” he said.

Lumley believes the initial investment in the system – estimated at around  $160,000­– will be money well spent. “Staff are communicating more frequently and efficiently,” Mr Hiss said.
