Underwriting agency Epsilon says Michael Di Veroli has joined as Head of Specialty.

Epsilon says the newly formed Specialty division marks an exciting development for the business as it expands the agency’s underwriting offering.

“In his role as Head of Specialty Michael will be using his underwriting and portfolio management skills along with extensive market contacts to solve complex placements for our broker clients across multiple classes of business,” Epsilon said.

Epsilon says he is well known in the Australian insurance market, having recently held long term senior roles with international insurers and brokers.

He is based in the Sydney office and will work alongside colleagues in the Property, Parametric, Construction and Liability product classes.

Epsilon has undergone significant expansion in recent months and includes new recruits Rolf Heyke (Engineering Consultant – Construction), Tom Bennett (Underwriter – Construction) and Teresa Towers (Underwriter – Property).
