Broker and insurance technology group Ensurance says a third insurer has joined its platform offering household cover policies.

The company has not named the insurer, but an online quotation obtained by insuranceNEWS.com.au shows policies are being offered by Berkshire Hathaway Insurance Australia, QBE and Lloyd’s coverholder Ensurance Underwriting.

The new insurance partner adds six household products to the platform, bringing the number of offerings to 11.

“Offering 11 product options from three high-quality insurer options online in minutes is now a reality in household insurance,” Ensurance MD Stefan Hicks said.

He says this has not been seen before in the white-label online distribution model in the Australian general insurance market.
