Ensurance has appointed CFO Samir Hallab as Company Secretary, replacing joint secretaries Jay Stephenson and Julia Becket.

Mr Hallab will retain his CFO role.

Before joining Ensurance he was deputy CEO of the Australian Catholic Superannuation and Retirement Fund, which manages $7 billion. He also held the positions of COO, CFO and company secretary to the trustee company.

Mr Hallab was a partner at Sydney accountancy firm Sothertons for more than 12 years and has extensive experience in risk management and compliance.
