Employers Mutual has released a broker app and online portal called EMpower.

CEO Mark Coyne says it provides brokers and customers in NSW with access to employees’ insurance policies, and “represents a significant leap in self-service, delivering our broker partners and customers increased performance, functionality and convenience”.

The tool, available online or for download via the Apple Store or Google Play, gives brokers and customers unlimited access to policy and claims information and premium projections.

Users can lodge injury notifications, update policy information, download a certificate of currency, request quotes and renew policies.

Employers Mutual CIO Marc Diffey says EMpower is a result of wide stakeholder consultation.

“What motivates us [is finding] ways to help our customers do more,” he said. “That’s why we continue to work closely with our broker networks and customers, integrating their feedback into the design process to ensure we are providing them with the right solutions to access their business critical data.”
