Elders, Ag Guard join forces to step up rural offerings

QBE-owned Elders  Insurance  and agricultural underwriting agency  Ag Guard have entered into a partnership to strengthen their offerings to clients in rural communities.

Elders says  the partnership will give  greater depth to  its agricultural knowledge and provide  increased agility, new niche systems and extended product capabilities.

“We are always looking for ways to enhance our offering with innovative solutions to rural producers, and the  partnership with Ag Guard enables us to do just that,”  GM Peter  Mackereth  said.

“Through our partnership, Ag Guard will provide a  specialised  crop insurance underwriting system and support  services to the Elders Insurance business, giving our clients the certainty that their insurance is supported by  two leading crop insurance specialists in Australia.”

Ag Guard MD Alex Cohn says the two partners  are wholly committed to the rural market, describing the partnership as a “great opportunity” to join forces to offer long-term client solutions.

“This is the first step in the partnership, and  there is huge opportunity to develop innovative products together that  genuinely help rural producers,”  Mr  Cohn said.
