Global e-commerce developer Ebix has confirmed its dominance in the insurance software market, winning six gongs at the Association for Co-operative Operations Research and Development (ACORD) awards.

The awards by ACORD, a non-profit association promoting software harmonisation across the industry, were presented to Ebix Carrier Product Development Director Sandy Hampel at a gala presentation in Las Vegas late last month.

Among the gongs collected by Ebix were Download Vendor of the Year, presented to Ebix’s Property and Casualty division. The award for the organisation most actively involved with ACORD was won by Ebix Exchange.
