Delta Insurance has opened up a new comprehensive package policy for tech companies to protect against “ever-increasing cyber attacks” and network liability.

The package, named MediaTech, provides cover for several tech risks, including software failures, media exposures, cyber threats, loss of data, intellectual property rights and general liability.

Delta says its policy will include coverage for business interruptions due to cyber attacks, liability from data breaches, and costs to regain data, as well as more.

The underwriting agency says MediaTech will also provide policyholders access to a broad range of legal and professional services to assist with loss prevention and crisis management for cyber attack events.

Delta Underwriting Manager Jacqui Warwick says the policy’s adaptability provides tech businesses “a comprehensive set of solutions to protect themselves against the evolving liabilities faced in today’s marketplace”.
