Suncorp Commercial Insurance CEO Anthony Day will become Chairman of truck insurance specialist NTI from tomorrow.

He succeeds Bob Wagstaffe, who will continue as a director.

Mr Wagstaffe has been a director of NTI for 14 years and chairman since February 2006.

CEO Tony Clark says his contribution to the growth of the company, which is jointly owned by CGU and Vero, has been invaluable.

“Bob ends his time as chairman on a high note, with NTI winning numerous awards and achieving record financial results over the past 12 months,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“Although he’s stepping down as chairman, I’m thrilled that Bob will continue to contribute his experience and expertise as a board member.”
