CyberCX buys NZ digital security firm
Australian digital security firm CyberCX has acquired a cyber protection services provider in New Zealand for an undisclosed amount.
The purchase of Insomnia Security builds on the Australian firm’s move last month to launch in the country, investing more than $NZ30 million ($27.6 million) to build up its operations there.
“Insomnia Security provides CyberCX with a significant enhancement to our security testing expertise and a major boost to our trans-Tasman capability,” CyberCX CEO John Paitaridis said.
The New Zealand firm was established in 2007 and has a team of 30 cyber security experts.
“CyberCX brings greater reach and scale to the work we do at Insomnia,” MD Brett Moore said.
