Cyber expert to lead new Clyde & Co service
Law firm Clyde & Co says it has launched its APAC Cyber Risk Advisory practice in response to growing demand from clients seeking support to improve their digital security.
Former Head of Aon Cyber Solutions in Australia Chris McLaughlin will head the new service, which will advise clients on ways to improve the cyber resilience of their systems, processes and people.
Mr McLaughlin has more than 20 years’ experience in information security and cyber risk management, including senior leadership roles at PwC, Gartner, EY and IBM.
He has also advised some of the world’s largest organisations on cyber strategies, transformation and governance programs.
Partner and Co-Head Global Cyber Practice John Moran says Mr McLaughlin and his team “will work closely with insurers and brokers to ensure insureds get independent, technology/vendor-neutral advice”.
