Cunningham Lindsey to rebrand as Sedgwick

The Cunningham Lindsey name will disappear from Australia following the loss adjuster’s acquisition by US-based claims manager Sedgwick late last year.

Sedgwick announced last week that Damon Bennett will remain as CEO Asia-Pacific, taking responsibility for Australia, New Zealand and nine Asian countries.

Diego Ascani continues as COO, while Anita Wilson has been appointed Head of Client and Sales. Jason Wyer remains Head of People and Performance, and Andrew Firth stays as Australian CFO.

Mr Bennett told insuranceNEWS.com.au the rebrand will take place later this year, and the deal has opened growth opportunities.

“We will look to expand our client base and service offering,” he said.

“Now we are backed by [Sedgwick’s] strength and resources, we are the largest and most capable claim management firm in the world, and we are committed to reflecting that in our growth ambitions in Australia.

“Sedgwick has carved a niche in tech-enabled solutions. This will be a significant addition for us and complements what we do now.”

Mr Bennett says there have been no high-profile departures from the business.

“It has been a case of realigning the existing team to make sure we play to our strengths.”
