Crawford Australia begins search for new President
Crawford Australia has commenced an executive recruitment search to find a successor to Tim Jarman who will retire at the end of the year.
“It is imperative that we find the right person to lead the business into the future and we won’t rush into a decision as I know I can rely on the strong leadership team in Australia to continue to restore lives, businesses and communities,” Crawford & Company International Operations CEO Andrew Bart said.
Crawford says it will look both inside and outside the company for a replacement for Mr Jarman, who has spent 43 years in the insurance industry across the UK and Australia.
Mr Jarman joined Crawford Australia as its chief operating officer in 2008 and became president in 2019.
His career as a claims handler began in Norwich Union in Brighton, England. He also spent time with a British insurance company specialising in employer and public liability claims before moving into loss adjusting.
“Tim has made a significant contribution to Crawford in Australia and perhaps one of his greatest leadership moments was steering the business through the devastating Australian floods in 2022,” Mr. Bart said. “I want to thank Tim for his immense contribution to Crawford & Company and wish him every success in his retirement.”
Mr Jarman says it has been a privilege to work for the company for the past 15 years and he looks forward to following its continuing success from the sidelines after his retirement.
