Cover-More has appointed Judith Crompton to the new role of CEO Travel and Aviation, effective from November 14.

She was most recently Virgin Australia chief commercial officer – a role she had held since 2012.

The travel insurer’s CEO Mike Emmett says the appointment is part of “a new global go-to-market approach”.

“We are pleased to welcome Judith to Cover-More,” he said.

“We have a significant track record in partnering with airlines and travel agency networks and Judith Crompton’s talent, drive and international expertise leading this business will enable us to leverage this global business to maximum effect.”

Ms Crompton has more than 30 years’ experience with travel companies in Australia, the UK and the United Arab Emirates.

She has previously served as regional GM for Qantas UK and Ireland, and head of global corporate and industry sales at Etihad.
