Travel insurer Cover-More has begun offering its products to Westpac New Zealand customers, under a partnership established in December.

The products are underwritten by Munich Re-owned Great Lakes and offered via the bank’s call centre and website.

Cover-More New Zealand CEO Bruce Morrison says the company will deliver dedicated travel insurance and assistance services to Westpac NZ customers.

“Medical assistance services are delivered by our team of expert doctors and nurses, so Westpac customers can travel with the assurance that they have access to the best medical assistance services available anywhere for Kiwi travellers.”

Cover-More’s New Zealand operation grew 34.5% in 2014/15, as the group’s net profit gained 10.3% to $31.1 million.
