Cornerstone Risk Group says it has acquired Total Insurance Agencies, a transport and mobile plant insurance specialist based in Queensland. 

The investment builds on recent purchases in the state by the Resilium-backed business, including PMA Trilogy Insurance Solutions in Toowoomba. 

“Their expertise and strong focus within the transport and mobile plant space is a fantastic fit for our existing business and we’re really looking forward to collaborating with them,” Cornerstone Risk Group Director Scott Mitchell said today in a statement. 

He says the Total Insurance Agencies team will integrate “smoothly” with Cornerstone offices in Toowoomba and Brisbane CBD. 

Total Insurance Agencies in 2017 became an authorised partner of Resilium Insurance Broking, its website says. 

“Joining forces with Cornerstone Risk Group is really exciting for us and we’re pleased to continue working with our existing transport and heavy motor insurance clients but as part of a larger group,” Director Loretta Hartley said.
