AUB-owned specialist underwriting agency group Sura has announced the departure of the leader of two of its businesses.

Kevin Corkery, MD of Sura Labour Hire and Sura Specialty, has left the group, and the search for a replacement has begun.

From 2008 Mr Corkery was MD at Lawsons Underwriting Australasia, which was acquired by AUB in 2013. AUB’s underwriting agencies, previously known as Austagencies, have been gradually rebranded as Sura since 2014.

Sura MD Angie Zissis says Mr Corkery has been “a great asset”, but it is business as usual at both agencies.
