Reinsurance broker Cooper Gay Australia has appointed Jon Calverley as its new MD.

Mr Calverley joined Cooper Gay in 2006 after working at JLT Risks Solutions in Sydney and London.

The company says he will be the key to expanding its business in Australia and New Zealand.
