Nora Watkins has been appointed to the new position of COO at recreational boat insurer Club Marine.

She was previously a senior manager business improvement with parent company Allianz Australia.

Before joining Allianz Ms Watkins held general management positions with Shell International in front and back-office service operations, sales and sales support, and business improvement. 

She has experience with Club Marine, having led the implementation of improvements to key areas such as customer service and claims processing. She led the introduction of Club Marine’s tele-claims and online claims systems last December.

Ms Watkins will now head the claims, underwriting and customer service teams.
