Chubb Studio platform heading for Australia
Chubb has rolled out Chubb Studio, a global digital platform that is designed to simplify the distribution of its insurance offerings through the insurer’s partners in retail, banking, airline and other industry channels.
Partner companies using Studio will have access to Chubb’s range of consumer insurance products, small business insurance offerings as well as customer services and claims support.
The insurer has more than 150 distribution partnerships globally, and a spokesman says the insurer hopes to launch Studio in Australia next year.
“It’s what we call ‘insurance in a box’,” Chief Digital Officer Sean Ringsted said. “Chubb Studio offers our partners a simple and frictionless way to offer insurance within their ecosystems, providing them with a competitive edge in their respective markets.
“Chubb handles the insurance stuff such as underwriting and claims that is then digitally wrapped by Chubb Studio, allowing partners to rapidly deploy insurance solutions to their customer base.”
