Chubb names further appointments as integration looms
Chubb has announced more appointments before Chubb and Ace begin operations as one entity in April.
The groups says the changes will bring “specialist technical expertise, underwriting discipline and strong market relationships” to Chubb Australia.
The appointments are:
- Cara Barrow, currently Chubb Property Practice Leader NSW, will be Property Northern Region Manager
- Ben McGregor, currently Chubb Property and Casualty Victoria, will be Property and Casualty Southern Region Manager
- Rob McCabe, formerly Ace NSW Financial Lines Manager and more recently working with a competitor, becomes Financial Lines Northern Region Manager
- Glenn Crombie, Chubb Technical Specialist in Victoria, will be Financial Lines Deputy Directors’ and Officers’/Crime/Financial Institutions Product Manager
- Austin Colotti, Ace Financial Lines SME Manager, will continue in this role, along with underwriters Susie Di Bernardo and Kylie Lyons
- Paul Brown, Chubb Practice Leader Information and Network Technology, will be Technology Manager
- Estelle Smith, Chubb Clean Technology Leader, will be Clean Technology Manager
- George Gilmour, Chubb Practice Leader Technology Insurance Specialty, will be Life Sciences Manager
- Chris Milne, Chubb Senior Underwriter, Entertainment, will be Entertainment Manager
- Matthew Rushton, Package Manager Chubb Commercial Insurance, will be Package Manager
- Stephen Hanna, Ace National Manager, will be Power Manager
- Richard Pipe, Ace Technical Lines Underwriter, will continue his role in the integrated entity.
- Michael Fletcher, Ace Construction Underwriting Manager, will continue his role in the integrated business, as will Kent Baerlocher, Ace Construction Underwriter
- Fiona Manion, Ace Senior Underwriter, Marine NSW and Queensland, will be Marine Northern Region Manager
- Steven Croney, Chubb Senior Marine Underwriter Victoria and Tasmania, will be Marine Southern Region Manager
- Niall O’Connell, Chubb Commercial Inland Marine Underwriter, will continue his role in the integrated business, as will Allen Paes, Chubb Underwriter – both reporting to John Leafe, Inland Marine Manager.
