Charles Taylor expands Australian business

Loss adjuster Charles Taylor has announced a series of Australian appointments in a move to “meet rising client demand”.

The firm announced eight new employees across property and liability lines to increase its “breadth of services” nationwide.

Among the hires to the property team are Matthew Hinks, Dennis Whittall and Nishantha Gunawardena, who will all join as Senior Adjusters. Elyse Clarke will join the team as a Technical Analyst.

Charles Taylor has also appointed Andrew Palmer and Werner Fourie to the liability team as Executive Adjusters, while Februzi Nasution will join as a Senior Adjuster.

The loss adjuster says the additions will bring the total size of its property team across Australia to 36 while its liability team grows to 17 members. Its total Australian operations now stands at over 120 technical adjusters and insurance specialists.

Charles Taylor Australia and New Zealand Regional Head Mark Thompson says the expansion will strengthen the company’s position “as a market leader in the loss adjusting industry”.

“With strong, experienced teams in place, we are able to deliver high-quality service to our clients in the aviation, marine, natural resources, property, casualty, technical and special risks markets,” Mr Thompson said.
