CGU’s rural policyholders will benefit from a new partnership offering free access to medical second opinions.

The insurer has teamed up with Best Doctors, a service that provides remote access to international experts who work with current diagnoses and offer second opinions, treatment plans and advice.

The service is free for CGU CountryPak policyholders. IAG’s EGM Broker Business Donna Walker says rural customers “often find it difficult to access specialist medical support due to their remote locations, so we see this partnership as a great way to help them and their families gain access to the very best advice and treatment plans”.
