Cerno appoints operations chief
Loss adjuster Cerno has appointed Jim Jobson as COO, effective from next Monday.
Mr Jobson was previously contractor connection manager with Crawford and Company, and has also held senior positions at IAG, Guild, Ace and MYI.
He says the market needs a third player to ensure choice and competition, and he is looking forward to continuing Cerno’s transformation program.
The company, which last month made 36 positions redundant, is integrating with claims services group Stream.
“The introduction of the Nexus hubs [management centres] is a great example of Cerno’s drive to find better ways of doing business,” Mr Jobson said.
MD Tony Button says Mr Jobson’s arrival is “a real coup for Cerno”.
