CEO quits No 1 truck insurer
National Transport Insurance (NTI) CEO Wayne Patterson will leave the company next month after seven years in the top job.
He said yesterday he decided to quit more than 12 months ago, but was asked to stay on until NTI’s old IT system was replaced.
“That project will be completed in March, and my hand-over will be completed shortly after,” he said.
“I’m a firm believer that every CEO should start their commission with not only a view of what needs to be achieved but also when they will exit – and make sure that it is well before they reach their use-by date.”
NTI, Australia’s largest truck insurer, is an equal joint venture of CGU and Vero.
