Premium funder Centrepoint Alliance has renamed its mortgage broking division, as it looks to increase opportunities generated through the business.

Australian Loan Company will become Centrepoint Lending Solutions (CLS).

Centrepoint Alliance Premium Funding CEO Bob Dodd says CLS focuses on consumer and commercial mortgages via mortgage brokers, and also provides asset finance, including for vehicles and equipment.

“We have had feedback from some general insurance brokers that CLS products may be good for their own use and in some cases their customers,” Mr Dodd told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“This is about aligning our branding across our funding businesses and enabling a dialogue with our business partners should they be interested in expanding their product offering.”

He says a number of insurance brokers now take a more holistic approach to financial services solutions, to aid customer retention.
