Calibre Insurance has unveiled a suite of tailored products for clients in the fire protection industry.

The public and product liability and professional indemnity policies can be purchased with or without business pack.

Calibre says it “welcomes the opportunity to protect the businesses that protect us”.

Calibre’s facility represents a widening of the scheme previously offered by Alan Wilson Insurance Brokers (AWIB).

Calibre CEO Mike Hooton told insuranceNEWS.com.au AWIB is an “acknowledged specialist in this sector, and we have worked closely with it to develop Calibre Fire Protection.

“We are also supporting AWIB and the relationship it has with Fire Protection Association Australia.”

The new facility comes under Calibre’s specialty liability underwriting team, led by Ross Gilbert.
