Brokers provide drought aid
Victoria’s Regional Insurance Brokers Association (RIBA) is chipping in to the drought relief effort, paying for the equivalent of a full tank of water for farmers as part of a drought relief donation.
Executive Officer Bill Friend says RIBA members – who held their annual conference in the coastal town of Lorne last week – had each purchased at least one tank load of water, with the association matching member donations for the Salvation Army’s drought relief program.
“Other broking groups and loss adjusters should follow RIBA’s lead,” he said.
