British group buys local loss adjuster FT
UK law firm DWF has expanded its loss adjusting presence in Australia with the acquisition of FT Adjusting, which specialises in construction and engineering claims.
DWF’s adjusting business is now merged with Sydney-based FT, operating under DWF’s Connected Services division.
The parent’s adjusting unit provides expertise in technical investigation and settlement of contract works, public and product liability, and professional indemnity claims.
“The merger of FT Adjusting with our DWF Adjusting business is the next milestone in the rapid expansion of Connected Services in Australia,” DWF MD Australia Jamie McPherson said. “By offering services adjacent to traditional legal advice, such as insurance loss adjusting, we’re listening to and responding to our clients’ needs.”
