Brad French leaves SLE Worldwide Australia

SLE Worldwide Australia CEO Brad French will leave the underwriting agency at the end of year, with a new head to be announced “in due course”.

Sydney-based SLE, which has a focus on the sports, leisure and entertainment markets, was acquired by Chaucer Group in 2017. The firm is a Lloyd’s coverholder and also writes on behalf of Australian licensed insurers.

“Brad’s contribution to SLE in his 25 years with the firm cannot be overstated,” Chaucer Group CEO John Fowle said.

“Under Brad’s leadership SLE has become a recognised leader for product innovation, broker-friendly technology and customer service. We thank him for his service and wish him well for the future.”

SLE Holdings Chairman Simon Rice will provide support during the transition to a new CEO, Chaucer says.

SLE has been operating in Australia since 1994, writing business in Australia, New Zealand and parts of South East Asia.
