Blue Zebra launches landlord product
Underwriting agency Blue Zebra has introduced its new landlord offering to broker partners as it continues its rapid growth.
The company, led by former QBE executives Colin Fagen and Blair Nicholls and underwritten by Zurich, aims to bring personal lines back to brokers and uses smart technology to increase efficiency.
It introduced its home product in May and motor in June, with landlord insurance going live last week. Its SME offering will roll out next year “alongside various other initiatives”.
In a note to brokers, the company says it is “delighted” with the response since launching.
“Our business has grown rapidly and we are enjoying levels of growth that exceeded even our own ambitious expectations,” the note says.
“We now have about 200 brokerages binding business with us. You have helped us move beyond our first $14 million well ahead of schedule.”
