Staff at QBE’s Perth office are back at work after “minor disruptions” from a fire which damaged the CBD office.

The fire last Tuesday damaged the QBE boardroom and closed down three floors of Mt Newman House on St George’s Terrace.

A spokesman says access to the offices was initially restricted, but work has since returned to normal, and no employees were injured in the fire.

“It resulted in a number of phone lines being temporarily diverted to our Sydney office,” she told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

The WA Fire and Emergency Services Authority is investigating the cause of the fire.
