Wayne Bismire has joined Acerta – the intermediary division of Guild Insurance – as Head of Intermediary after leaving his role as NSW state manager for Lumley.

He replaces David Roddis at Guild, which is largest insurer of allied health and child care professionals in Australia and set up the intermediated division two years ago.

Acerta has grown from two to 12 staff in the past 22 months and offers its own branded insurance products to brokers and agents.

Guild Insurance CEO Mario Pirone says Mr Bismire’s experience in intermediated insurance is “outstanding”.

Mr Bismire has already started in his new position. He will remain in Sydney until early next year, then move to Melbourne.
